SAN•KAL•PA

Sanskrit: सङ्कल्प

Sankalpa is a Sanskrit word that means an intention formed by the heart and mind -- a solemn vow, determination, or will to support our highest truth. It is a one-pointed resolve to focus both psychologically and philosophically on a specific goal. It is a tool meant to refine the will, and to focus and harmonize mind and body.

The mission of Sankalpa Therapy and Wellness Center is to create many ripples of healing in the lives of children, adults, couples, families, and communities.

We embody compassion, a tangible expression of love, to guide our clients in finding the knowledge and courage within themselves to create growth in the pursuit of healing.

Our providers generally draw on one or more theories of psychotherapy and apply research-based techniques to guide people through the process of understanding their beliefs, values, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. It is a collaborative treatment based on the relationship between the person and provider. Our team of experienced professionals are here to help empower each person’s unique needs for growth and healing. Many sessions can be held in-person or virtually.

We offer several types of wellness practices to help with everyday anxieties, stressors, and physical ailments. These range from Breathwork, Aroma Therapy, Energy Healing, to Thai Yoga Bodywork. We will be adding on more practices in the near future to include massage, acupuncture, yoga classes & MORE.

We currently offer multiple Play Therapy Trainings to private organizations and groups. Contact us if you would like to schedule a training for your organization.
